Lyudmila Grel is professional teacher of music and singing, talented and creative person. She sings perfectly and plays the accordion and piano, teaches children music skills. Lyudmila was born in Volodymyr-Volynsk, Volynsk region, Ukraine, where she studied music at home and music school. Then she graduated from Lutsk Sate Music College and more than 10 years worked as a teacher at Lutsk music school, accordion class. Her students took part in children contests of the city and region. With this pedagogic length of service she immigrated to the USA and more than 10 years works at Ukrainian school in Uniondale. During this time she organized and conducted lots of concerts and fests, in which all the school students, their teachers and families took part. Every year music program of school is renewed, repertoire is changed and new talents are found. It’s the great desert of Lyudmila Grel. In addition to organizational and pedagogic skills Lyudmila Grel has wonderful voice and sings in St Myhailo church choir and at various events organized by Ukrainian society of Long Island. She gives her love of music and Ukrainian songs to children. In particular her children were participants at children festival in New York. For the work with Ukrainian youth Lyudmila Grel was honored by medal and twice by diploma of UCCA. Next plans are to seek talents, individual piano and vocal classes, performances of school teacher’s vocal group and selfless labor for Ukrainian school and society. |
